Diamond DFM-iX3 Umpire Mask

I am really proud of my mask. Some of the guys I work with are still using the heavy,old school, masks.Once they have seen this mask in action,they admit they are a little jealous. Several of my fellow umpires have said they will be looking to buy one when they can.This mask is great for all around comfort in fall and spring seasons.I will be looking to order some extra pads for summer so that I can keep a fresh pair and let the other air out.Here in the south we tend to get hot after a game or two in the summer sun.This mask helps cut down on the fatigue by being almost weightless. I am really pleased with my purchase.

Pros: light weight,durable,can really turn an ugly pitch into something to laugh about.I've taken a few to the mask and never had a problem.

Cons: none so far.

Mask is extremely lightweight and comfortable. Low profile design allows for improved field of vision. Have not taken a hit with it yet but construction of cage appears substantial. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the pad configuration makes it challenging to wear a combo-style cap (cap wants to come off with mask unless you are very deliberate during the removal process). Price of this item was the lowest found anywhere.

The dfm ix3 lives up to its description. It's very light, strong and has a great field of vision. Several umpire's in organization use this mask on a daily basis and it continues to impress.

is great to wear something not so heavy.

Initially, I'm satisfied but I haven't had a lot of time to use the mask.
Time will tell but from an initial perspective, the mask seems really lite and has great visibility.
If I have an issue, it's in the adjustability of the straps and getting the mask to come off nicely without pulling my cap off. It needs to be loose enough to come off without pulling the hat but tight enough so it doesn't droop in the crouch. I'm still fiddling with it. Again, time will tell but again, it's lite and has great visibility.

Speed of service was fantastic. I could not believe how fast you got it to me. Was not expecting it for 3 or 4 more days. Mask is great. Very satisfied with it.

Only used it 1 day so far, but was very pleased with it. I will be inspecting it closely to be sure the finish does not crack or flake as promised.

I wear this mask everyday and it is great. Light, strong, comfortable, and I have turned on a few friends to this mask, they love it!

The lightest I've ever worn! No more struggling to hold your head up after a long day at the park.

The ultimate lightweight mask for the price! There are pads out there that are more comfortable, but I don't have a problem with these pads.
