This glove features our popular 200 pattern at 11.75". The PROS171C's pattern is deeper making it ideal for third base, and is preferred by some shortstops depending on their preference for that position. This version also features the unique Wing Tipp Conventional Back that features a one piece leather construction across the back that adds strength behind the fingers. This feature also eliminates the seam in the area where ball impact is the greatest adding comfort during long periods of play. The gloves I Web, patented by Rawlings in 1940, conforms to a lighter, smaller web desired by infielders. As the web does not tie to the crotch of the glove, the laces allow you to better shape the pocket.
