Batting Drill - Golf Balls
To develop hand-eye coordination and bat control, get a bag of the whiffled “perforated” golf balls and have a friend pitch them to you. Concentrate on hitting the golf ball on the center of the barrel. Once you get the hang of it, start hitting them to all parts of the field, 5 to the right, 5 up the middle, and 5 to the left.

Bunting Drill
Place two cones, one 20 feet out from home plate and 10 feet from the left foul line.
Do the same with the other cone from the right foul line
Work on bunting the ball towards the line so that it rests in fair territory between the foul line and the cone.
Do this for both sides of the field
Bunting many times is the difference between winning and losing games. This drill will help you determine the bat angle and technique required to bunt down the lines.

Fungo Golf
When you get to the ball field early and have some spare time, grab some buddies and play some fungo golf (fungos are best but any bat will do). Pick a spot on the field to hit to and tee off. The person to hit the target in the least amount of strokes wins the hole. Pick different targets all over the field and get in as many holes as possible before the rest of the team shows up. Believe it or not this game will help with bat control.
