Hot right out of the wrapper.Bought the bat for my 7 yr old. We had a tourney in 4 days. Hit the bat everyday for 3 days about 50 good hits a day. Bat got just hotter. I use a miken Freak for adult slow pitch softball and love it, so why not their baseball bat. I am sure glad i did, its hotter then any Easton i have seen hit so far and hotter then the Catalyst. A durable bat? We will just have to wait and see. I know i snapped my softball bat when it was 55 degrees.Thats why you keep your good old aluminum bat in the bag too! Good hitting.
